  1. Q Does this also fit 1/4 violin?
    A It is made to fit on a 4/4 size violin. However, it is a fairly soft material and would be very easy to use scissors to cut it into the right size for a smaller violin. As a teacher, I think this would be a great idea/fit if your student/child is having some discomfort on the neck or under the chin from the violin.
  2. Q What are your thoughts on getting this velcro version versus the elasic strap version?
    A I honestly think the elastic strap version is better than velcro. I don't prefer attaching the velcro onto a special instrument. If you do put it on and take them out, the chin rest could get sticky/not feel how the way it was. In the other hand, if it is elastic, it is easy to take them out. It's more convenient. I always use a pad on my violin chin rest during practice and take them out when performing
